Dimensions delivers a personalized guest experience

Dimensions Retreats offers holistic wellness retreat programs to support personal growth and trauma recovery. Their services blend psychotherapy, somatic therapies, and neuroscience. When the executive team prepared to open Dimensions Algonquin Highlands, a luxury, all-season retreat on Maple Lake in Ontario, they asked me to design a mobile app to help manage and enhance the guest experience.

How might guests get a personalized experience?

Challenge

Dimensions needed to create a truly individualized and holistic wellness experience for each guest. That involved bringing together a wide variety of therapeutic, clinical, and nature-based activities in a setting that was both safe, private, and luxurious. In the end, they were looking for a mobile digital platform that could handle every part of the guest journey, from customized programs to daily logistics, while making the retreat experience as restorative and immersive as possible.

Solution

Working closely with the Dimensions executive team, I designed a mobile app that guides each guest through a tailored, restorative program created by an interdisciplinary team. It offers relevant information with a simple, mobile-first design, making everything feel effortless. The app provides easy access to important information, reservations, daily schedules, and guest services. It also fully complies with national standards for protecting sensitive patient health information, including HIPAA and PHIPA.
