Problem Statement
How might PwC consultants improve their agility in managing day-to-day deliverables?
Challenge
Monitoring daily project deliverables was a real challenge for PwC consultants, who had to rely on manual and disconnected tools like spreadsheets and emails. This meant extra admin work, information silos, and not enough oversight for project leaders. To mitigate these risks and standardize excellence, the firm needed a robust tool that could make it easy to capture and monitor deliverables across all teams.
Solution
Through user-centered design, I designed and integrated a custom Kanban system into an existing PwC project management platform to drive consultants’ efficiency. This new system centralizes all deliverables in one place, automates status updates, and gives teams real-time visibility. What sets it apart is its adaptability; consultants can easily customize the board to fit the unique management requirements of their practice areas, making it simple to assign, prioritize, and manage tasks visually.
Results
With its focus on efficiency, standardization, and visibility, the new tool has given leadership greater confidence in consistent delivery and helped the firm proactively manage risks, especially on complex client projects,
